Location
Stone Mountain Estates is located approximately mile
north of US Highway 380 and is bounded by Rock Hill Road
to the west and Spring Mountain Road to the east. Rock
Hill Road runs through the eastern portion of a wildlife
preserve along the Trinity River, and the land on both
sides of the road is owned by the US Army Corps of
Engineers. The area west of Rock Hill Road all the way
to the Trinity River can never be developed and will
remain in its natural state. Since the Rock Hill Road
frontage is government owned all the way south to HWY
380, the drive-up to Stone Mountain Estates will be
protected from further development except for 3 or 4
driveways. Spring Mountain Road is an existing county
road to the east that will serve as the back entrance to
the development. |

View from Top of Waterfall
The water will cascade down from this point into the
lake 85 feet below. The view in the distance is
protected wildlife preserve and will not change except
for a few houses in this development. |

Eastern Creek
This photo was taken from the Eastern creek between
lots D-4 and G-6. |
|

Stone Mountain Lake
The central lake will become a common area with a park
surrounding it. This photo shows a view of the central
lake from the location of the future walkway across the
dam. The waterfall can be seen in the distance across
the lake. |

View from Hilltop
This photo is taken from one of the hills looking down
to the creek 80 feet below. Note the large boulders and
pine trees along the steep hill. |

Fantastic Views
Many of the lots have views overlooking expansive
terrain with only a few rooflines to obscure the
scenery. |

Property From US-380
his photo shows a view of US Highway 380 across the
Trinity River/Lake Lewisville crossing. The Stone
Mountain property is located mile to the north of Hwy
380 at the base of the hillside. This property is
uniquely situated with easy access to the conveniences
of the fast-developing 380-corridor while being
protected in the privacy of a wildlife preserve. |
|
 |
View from Trinity River Basin
The specific location of the property is pointed out on
this photo. Note that the tall hills overlook two miles
of a designated wildlife preserve along the Trinity
River Basin, so that no future development will ever be
able to spoil the view or the privacy. |
|
 |
Rock Hill Road Entrance Area
Due to the wildlife preserve along the Trinity River
Basin, the drive along Rock Hill Road from US Hwy 380
will be protected from construction or development,
except for three driveways. The view in ten years should
look much the same as it does today. |

Aerial Photo
In addition to dramatic elevation changes, the property
is heavily wooded with large oak trees and includes two
creeks that converge into a 2-acre lake. The central
lake has a penninsula in the middle with a steel
foot-bridge for pedestrian access. The higher elevation
on the south side of the property has been cleared and
is currently used as a hay field. The aerial photo shows
the existing layout of the property. |
